Report of 5th day(5th feb 2019)

A very good morning to one and all, here I am with a report of yesterday activities. The morning session started with the wonderful assembly program presented by the SOOCHNA SARTHI group . After this our Course Coordinator Shri Sunil Saini sir told us about the WhatsApp group activities that all participants has to actively share their outcomes, ideas in the group on a daily basis .
After this Shri Sanjay Chauhan sir faculty ziet Chandigarh told us about the self-esteem that we should have while doing our work , we should have self confidence in ourselves and do our work in such a manner that our presence may be felt in our absence.
After this Dr. Neeraj Assistant Librarian A C Joshi Library, Punjab University took a session on Digital Library and Greenstone Digital Library, its basic structure and how we can create a digital library in our school libraries. He also introduced us to a community for digital services called FOSS this community can easily help us in overcoming problems while dealing with the digital services
After this we had our tea break followed by a practical session on Greenstone Digital Library by Rahman Sir, where he showed us the installation part and how to create digital pages in it, and in the latter session we all did hands on session, cleared our doubts under the guidance of both resource person and our coordinator sir …
